Volunteer recruitment

Prof. Hodges gave several public talks at the University of the Third Age (U3A) and at the Association of the Independent Retirees over the last few weeks. These talks provided an opportunity to recruit healthy volunteers for our studies with many people showing interest in participating in our research.

Healthy volunteers are of great importance to our research because we need to compare our patients results to healthy people. This allows us to gain a better understanding of the underlying deficits in our patients.

We are always looking for healthy people in their 50s and 60s who would be keen to participate in our studies. If you are interested in volunteering for our research please click on Research Participation under Carers, Patients & Volunteers on this website. Alternatively, contact David Foxe on (02) 9399 1085.

Thank you to all our volunteers for their time and effort.
