Dr Michael Hornberger
Senior Research Officer
Michael completed his PhD in Experimental Psychology in 2006 at University College London (UK). During his PhD he worked for 4 years as a research assistant in Cambridge in collaboration with John Hodges on projects investigating cognitive processes in healthy and demented people.
Michael is continuing his cognitive research here at NeuRA by:
- developing new diagnostic tests for frontotemporal dementia patients, in particular for behavioural distrubances in FTD,
- investigating the underlying cognitive disturbances in FTD
- analysing structural and functional images of patient’s brain scans.
